Welcome to my blog! To learn more about me check out the scroll bar to the right (although I'm going to assume that if you've found your way to this blog it's because you already know me). Regardless I am going to start by introducing myself, and more importantly stating what I hope to achieve with this blog. Unfortunately I have no clue what I hope to achieve so it's an experiment in the greatest sense of the word.
I will start by saying that I love the fall. Starting this blog after Labor Day seems apt, as we roll into my favorite season, and I can say without a doubt that my sincerest hope is to use this as a space of documentation. Of my city (DC), travels (anywhere and everywhere), sights, and sounds. I am notoriously horrible about regularly updating anything ever at all. Well, all I can do is try again. So allow me to present to you reader (are you out there?) BIRD ON A PERCH. I foresee this as a space for my mental musings on all things that catch my eye and keep my attention. A little bit of music, movies, fashion, and a lot a bit of food.
This will without a doubt be a work in progress! I look forward to this new adventure and am glad you here for the ride...
